  • New FlipPort for proprietary accessories; Smooth 60-fps frame rate and 2X digital zoom; Extremely simple and easy to use; FlipShare software for basic editing and sharing
  • Video quality not as good as previous models; Fixed internal memory; No still-image capture or resolution controls; Discontinued line; may have future support issues
  • It doesn't offer the same impressive video quality as its predecessors, but the final version of Cisco's Flip UltraHD pocket camcorder still dominates the field in ease of use

  • Cisco's Flip UltraHD isn't very full-featured, but that's sort of the point. It definitely has its place, and it's a great option for children, the elderly, or anyone who just wants a quick way to shoot easily uploadable video without any fuss. There a...

  • 720p HD video capture, image stabilisation, 50fps
  • Pricey, focusing range starts at 1.5m, below average audio
  • A decent pocket camcorder, but the audio quality isn't brilliant and it's a little pricey compared to its rivals...

  • Good frame rate, Image stabilisation works, Very easy to use, Great size
  • It's a tad pricey, No optical zoom, Struggles in certain conditions
  • The Flip UltraHD is a decent pocket-friendly camcorder, then. And with the higher frame rate and image stabilisation added since last year, it's definitely the best Flip yet.We still struggle to see the value there, though, especially when there are ot...

  • Abstract:  Why mess with a winning formula? Hence the new Flip UltraHD from Flip Video appears much the same as before, packing 8GB of integral memory for up to two hours of 720p HD footage in widely accessible MPEG4 file format, rather than Full HD, yet with ...

  • Good quality video recording, Small and light, Easy to use, Comes with handy onboard editing and sharing software
  • No memory card slot, HD up to 720p only, No photo mode, No HDMI cable provided
  • Another minor refresh from Flip Video, the new UltraHD is a small, simple camcorder with only a handful of new features to differentiate it from the last model in the range. There are a couple of glaring omissions -- no 1080p or photo modes, for exampl...
