  • Superb overall image quality, excellent performance at high ISOs in low light, builtin WiFi is an improvement over previous models, good overall speed for shooting candids, photographing models in a runway setting and capturing sports, nice, weathersealed
  • The 11point autofocus system performed well but is a step down from pro DSLRs and the competing camera from Nikon, maximum 1/180 flash sync speed is a notch slow for studio strobe work, only one SD card slot, no headphone jack for video, Price: $2,099 (bo
  • Many of the new full-frame cameras that were announced in 2012 have been making their way into the hands of photographers in 2013. It will be interesting to see how the excellent, relatively slimmed down Canon EOS 6D fits into the overall market. On the o...

  • Tough, moisture and dust resistant body, Built-in Wi-Fi and GPS, Great image quality with low noise levels, AF effective in very low light, 4.5fps continuous shooting limited by memory for JPEGs.
  • Single SD card slot, Lacks built-in flash, 97 percent viewfinder coverage, Relatively few AF points and only one cross-type, Lacks on-demand viewfnder overlays.
  • The Canon EOS 6D is an extremely capable and well-designed full-frame digital SLR that provides a clear upgrade choice for anyone looking to graduate from an APS-C model to a full-frame DSLR. It combines excellent image quality with superb high ISO no...

  • The Canon EOS 6D delivers the photo and video quality you expect from a full-frame sensor, in a well-designed and relatively lightweight body
  • While the camera has nice extra features, like Wi-Fi and GPS support, it's missing some basics for the price like on-camera flash, multiple card slots, and a 100 percent-coverage viewfinder
  • The photo quality you get from the EOS 6D makes it well worth the upgrade over a consumer APS-C model, but between this and comparable or higher-end models it's a less obvious choice.

  • Not the fastest camera on the block. Viewfinder only offers 97 percent coverage. Not compatible with EF-S lenses. GPS saps battery life. No flash. Slow focus during video recording. No PC Sync socket
  • The Canon EOS 6D is a top-notch full-frame camera in a compact body. With a relatively affordable price, enthusiast-friendly features, and spectacular image quality, it's an easy Editors' Choice....

  • On paper the new Canon EOS 6D seems rather poorly specified compared to its main rival, the Nikon D600, and its big brother, the 5D Mark III, but in reality it proves to be a very capable DSLR that delivers outstanding pictures in both good and bad light...

  • If you are most interested in stills and dont care that much about video quality, the 6D is a great value—it produces top-notch pictures, with very few compromises, at a lower price than weve ever seen. But if you are looking for the video prowess of th...

  • Image quality, ISO performance, WiFi & GPS, AF performance in lowlight
  • One crosstype AF point, JPEG sharpness, playback zoom control
  • Priced at £1789, it's good to finally see a new full frame body in Canon's lineup that costs under £2000. For APS-C DSLR users considering the jump up to full frame, it still represents a serious outlay when you consider EF-S lenses can't be used with...

  • Abstract:  The Canon 6D is a 20MP full frame camera that steps up in performance from the 5D Mark II , but still offers a lower entry price than what the 5D Mark II did at its debut. For now, Canon's full frame line-up will consist of ( in order of sophistication an...
