  • Image stabilization is a nice addition, Pretty much the same price as the original A7, Faster autofocus performance, More controls with the extra function buttons,
  • Too quick of a refresh. They should have waited another year and added even better functions to the camera
  • The Sony A7 Mk II doesn't seem to have any big differences that would make us sell our A7 yet. But there are notable improvements.Top SearchesTop SearchesMonitorsPanasonic...

  • Effective 5-axis image stabilization, Bright, clear pictures, Fast access to settings, Surprisingly small for a full-frame camera
  • Slow writing to memory card, Quirky autofocus, Motion distortion from shutter roll in action video

  • Image stabilization for all lenses, Still the most compact full-frame camera you can get, Improved build quality and ergonomics
  • Limited and expensive lens options, Disappointing JPEG output, Autofocus still not as good as competition
  • More times than not, the Verge score is based on the average of the subscores below. However, since this is a non-weighted average, we reserve the right to tweak the overall score if we feel it doesn't reflect our overall assessment and price of the produ...

  • One of the first things I noticed about the Sony a7II is the difference in weight. It certainly feels heavier than its first generation siblings. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, as the overall build does feel much more solid. As for the new layout of...
