• Access personal data from any Web-connected Mac or PC, Simple sharing options, Easy installation, Affordably priced
  • Doesn’t work through corporate-level firewalls, Slow transfer speeds
  • For anyone who’s been intimidated by the cost or the technical barriers to buying and installing a network-attached storage drive, Cloud Engine’s $99 Pogoplug is a marvelous solution. Not only is it useful for accessing your most important fil...

  • Extremely quick setup. Easy to use. Makes sharing files easy. Great iPhone compatibility via iPhone app.
  • A few minor glitches. Web site could be better organized.
  • With almost no effort, the CloudEngines Pogoplug makes the data on your external USB drives available via the Web....

  • Easy to use. Simple set up. Great utility: I MUST be able to access my collection of LOLcat photos from anywhere. iPhone app is solid software
  • No wireless mode … yet. Poor security it's a wise idea to keep those tax returns or bank documents off the PogoPlug. Computer crashes are deeply flummoxing. IPhone is currently the only mobile device that supports remote access

  • Abstract:  Pogoplug is a product with the simplest of goals: to make it possible to access the information on your external USB hard drive from anywhere. It’s a easy enough concept, but in the past doing this wasn’t as simple as it could be. You could use softwar...

  • Abstract:  We wrote about the PogoPlug NAS adapter in January, and I was excited to see what it could do. I finally got my review model, and this little gadget does a pretty good job of living up to the hype. The PogoPlug itself is the size of a large wall-wart A...

  • Abstract:  The people behind Pogoplug may have raised the price to $100, but they managed to deliver a way to share any USB drive over the internet that's incredibly easy—and it even works with iPhones. Pogoplug is just a white brick with one USB port, one...

  • Abstract:  Why Pogo? Perhaps because the colourful integrated stand suspends the main body, and it gently bounces when depressed (don't we all). Or perhaps because once you've tried the PogoPlug, you may be gently bouncing too. This is quite the simplest data/media ...

  • Abstract:  The beauty of it is that, instead of remoteness meaning that it is situated in a bunker 10,000 miles away and only accessible via a complicated website, the Pogoplug lives on your own premises, and doesn't need an IT department to set it up. It's also fre...

  • This is a simple, clever device that deserves to catch on. It’s not going to eliminate our need for YouTube and Facebook, but it’s a great way of accessing and sharing files from anywhere, without having to upload them to the internet. The price is go...

Wer kenn...
