  • Runs just about anything, Ample number of ports, Configurable Backlit keyboard, High definition full HD display
  • Very heavy, Poor Battery backup, Flimsy display hinge, Slight keyboard flex, Noisy in a silent environment, Firmware issues

  • Subtle improvements to Alienware's dorm room chic design; amazingly fast and powerful; highly configurable.
  • Good configs can get very expensive; no 16:9 display; garish lights don't scream "high end".

  • The most powerful laptop in the world has a 'take no prisoners' attitude when it comes to pure performance. At Rs. 1,40,000, you'll have to break a bank to afford this. ...

  • Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9300 (2.53 GHz), 4GB RAM, NVIDIA GTX280 1GB SLi, stealth mode (hybrid graphics), 2 x 500GB HDD RAID, 17-inch 1200P CCFL screen, Blu-ray/DVDRW ODD, BIOS processor multiplier 16x, HDMI & display port, great looks, good build
  • Weight, not much performance jump after overclocking
  • Ever since I tested the Dell XPS M1730 I couldnt stop boasting about its performance. By calling it a Monster of a Laptop I made it pretty clear what I really felt about it. Well now Dell has undergone some restructuring and will use XPS more as a p...

  • Insane hardware, Beautiful construction, Reasonable pricing
  • Gimmicky special effects, No bundled accessories
  • Alien abductionUsing the M17x is quite an experience. This is clearly not the kind of laptop you’ll carry to college or work every day in your sling bag. It’s portable, but definitely not mobile—the 240 Watt power brick by itself is abou...

  • So, we like the M17x a great deal. Gaming performance is better than most ‘proper' PCs and it's twice as fast as the majority of gaming laptops released just a year ago. The only flies in the ointment are the fact that it's too heavy and power inefficient...

  • Great performance for games; good set of built-in speakers; menacing design.
  • Bulky and heavy; poor battery performance; expensive.
  • On the whole, the M17X is a great notebook to have if you want something that's purely built for entertainment - whether it's for watching movies or games. It is a pretty beefy machine with the muscles to handle the latest games and it has great sound...
