  • Abstract:  Video Review: At only 15 dBA, the Nexus Value 430W Power Supply is one of the quietest on the market. It also has an efficiency of 80+%, sleeved leads and it compact. This PSU measures in at only 150x86x125mm (5.9x3.4x4.9in) so it's perfect for a tin...

  • We were really surprised with the Nexus Value 430. Touted as an entry-level product, it presents remarkable performance, with efficiency between 80.8% and 85.9%, three percent voltage regulation, and extremely low noise and ripple levels (one of the lowes...

  • Let's put all off our thoughts together and make a final judgement. First there is the electrical performance in where both off our contestants scored evenly good (apart of the PF issue we witnessed with the Coolermaster PSU). The volt rails remain ...

  • Abstract:  At first I want to thank Nexus for providing me theValue 430 Silent Power Supply for testing and reviewing. In this review, I will test a low cost PSU from Nexus and will see how silent, efficient it is during load, will also compare it with another PSU...

  • Although as I said I prefer very little fluctuation the PSU was powering a lot more than what it was designed to handle and my system never became unstable the entire time using the product. The voltages were well within boundaries and for the price i...

  • The Nexus Value 430 makes a bold leap to the very top of our quiet PSU rankings. It is the quietest fan-cooled PSU weve yet tested, by a 2-3 decibel margin, the closest being the Enermax Modu 82+ 425W at around 13 dBA, the Seasonic M12D-850W at 14 dB...

  • I love the huge ecofriendly push Nexus is making with this product. Hopefully we will see much more to come!, Although it is a budget price for an 80% efficiency power supply, it certainly isn't "budget quality", Good performance, Silent operation, Fu...
  • Wouldn't hurt to toss in a power cable and four installation screws, I'd still like to see the price be a little lower
  • The Value 430 is a step in the right direction for an entirely eco-friendly power supply. Not only does it provide efficient power usage, similar to what many higher end units are doing these days, but it's also constructed and packaged in an eco-frie...

  • Abstract:  Recently when we've tested power supplies we regularly received comments about the fact that we test the efficiency of PSUs beginning at 200 watts. That's because the energy consumption of modern desktop PCs with Ivy Bridge or Haswell processors is typi...

  • Abstract:  When you're assembling a basic system with or without an entry-level card you don't need more than 300-450 watts to power it. These PCs also benefit from a good and stable PSU, but there's a lot of junk available in this lower segment. We thought that w...

  • Very very Quiet, Well built, Efficient, Powerful enough for all but the most powerful spec pc’s, Cables sleeved from psu to last connector.
  • Expensive for a “Value” power supply, Not the prettiest of power supplies (but then it never pretended to be), Mains lead not included.
  • The Nexus Value 430 is quite a performer and seems to pack a punch well above its weight so to speak. I was a little surprised if I am totally honest as to how well it seems to perform in a mid range system. The 12v rails are rated at 2 amps per 12v ra...
