  • Many of the best elements of previous Mario platform games in one place. Players can join and leave the main game at any time. Quicksave feature. A lot of great powerups, new suits and hidden stuff to find.
  • Odd timing issues, slightly lighter gravity and a few awkward motion control issues.

  • There are moments when it perfectly recaptures the spirit of old Mario games, but...
  • it tries too hard to cater to both the hardcore Mario fan and new Wii gamers, making for an uneven experience.

  • Abstract:  There is very little to say about the Super Mario series that hasn’t already been said. The plump, mustachioed plumber known as Mario and his green-clad brother Luigi are probably the most recognizable figures in gaming, and helped to put Nintendo on t...

  • Abstract:  Sometimes reinventing the wheel isn't necessary. Sometimes just giving the wheel a nice spit-and-polish is all that is needed to make the wheel seem shiny and new and tons of fun. As old as the wheel might be, even if it, horror of horrors, is from t...

  • Abstract:  Say what you will about the flood of third-party duds bogging down the Wii's game library; when Nintendo's internal developers step up to the plate to release their own game for their own system, they knock it out of the park every time. Fans cheer, sa...

  • If you loved playing Mario games on the NES or even the SNES you are going to absolutely love this game. It’s classic side-scrolling Mario with a nice four player twist. The graphics are simple but well done, the music top notch and the fun factor is i...

  • Abstract:  Nintendo has become a very different company than they were in the early days. Once devoted to delivering instant classics (and their timely sequels) to cater to its growing number of fans, the breakout success of the Wii has shifted the company’s foc...

  • Great level design, Challenging difficulty, Plenty of replay value, Multiplayer can be fun if you're not taking it too seriously.
  • Multiplayer can be frustrating if you're taking it seriously, Motion controlbased moves can lead to control lapses, No Classic Controller support.
  • Classic gameplay, challenging levels, and some fun multiplayer make New Super Mario Bros. Wii another stellar outing for the plump plumber. ...

  • Abstract:  You better bring your butt-stomping A-game to New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Like the best Mario 2D games of decades past, this game is unashamedly and deliciously challenging. It will even test the most seasoned platforming veterans. And it's not just the...

  • Abstract:  New Super Mario Bros. Wii is precisely the game that, back in 1991, I figured we'd be playing 20 years down the road. That is to say, it's a direct evolution of the classic Mario games, specifically Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World. Of course,...
