  • Abstract:  The concept of the open-world game is the ability to basically do whatever you want. While the programmers might be telling you “the game is this way” open world games reward you for wandering off into a field for hours, trying to make your own fun. This...

  • Abstract:  Race a train in a Subaru WRX, because ... why not?The crazy attention to detail from the more serious game remains, as the cars look the part inside and out, yet rather than stick to the tarmac, Horizon 2 lets drivers loose upon fields and coastal towns, ...

  • Less serious than its more refined big brother the Forza Horizon series is bigger and better than ever in its debut on the Xbox One with Forza Horizon 2. Buckle up...

  • Abstract:  It's not the first time this has happened to me in my life, though if you plotted the occurrences of this particular ocular mishaps they would coincide neatly with the early life of each new console generation. This is because driving games always seem to...

  • Stunning views; vast, openworld landscape; consistently entertaining game play; wide selection of cars and races; plenty of replay value
  • Some aspects of the graphics could be tightened a little
  • There's a hell of a lot of fun to be had with Forza Horizon 2 , whether you played the first Horizon or not, and even the most dedicated racing sim fan would struggle to not love every second spent throwing their car through yet another field of flowers...

  • Amazing graphics, genuine sense of speed, 200+ beautifully rendered cars that move and feel just right, always online gameplay modes offer more than just other drivers, cunning use of the Drivatar system to make solo careers feel full of real people too
  • A lot feels just like the original Forza Horizon, sometimes the Road Trip element distracts from the open world experience and discourages exploration
  • If we were being super critical then Forza Horizon 2 feels a little too much like the original Forza Horizon at times. The concept and ultimate goals are the same. But so much more has been added that it would be unfair to mark it down for that. Ind...

  • Abstract:  Enter Playground Games. The young UK studio is on a mission to break this sad entropy by building a bridge between hardcore and populist, between the car games you get and the car games you dream about, between rubber and soul. 2012's Forza Horizon , an o...
