Average black level response, Limited online video services, High input lag, Visible 3D line structure
The L55ET60's premium looks provide a beautiful disguise for its mid-range status, and if there's a friendlier Smart TV in town right now, we haven't met it. It caters well for your multimedia needs too, and there's much to admire about its picture quali...
Abstract: For £699, you won't find many better tellies with Freeview HD built in alongside an enormous display. But how do its web-connected skills fare? We plugged one into our home network to find out - hit the video above to see the results. ...
Exceptionally natural picture performance, User-friendly interface, Good value
Native contrast could be better, Some key video streaming services are missing, Remote control a bit old school
If you like your pictures natural, your designs slim and shiny, and your Smart TV interfaces really easy to use, then the Panasonic L42ET60 is well worth seeking out despite its slight contrast fragility....
Slim, stylish, Great new home screen options, Streaming and smart connectivity, clever remote app, Detailed and sharp pictures, Comfortable 3D performance
Black levels lack depth and solidity, Backlight not perfect, Poor sound
The Panasonic TX-L50ET60 is a good TV, and a solid start to 2013 for Panasonic. We're big fans of the style and design, the new my Home Screen menu system looks great and Panasonic's familiar natural, sharp and detailed palette is present and correct. ...

Sharp, punchy pictures, My Home Screen, Classy styling
Needs more catch, up TV, Black depth
On reflection, the TX-L42ET60B has more in the pros column than the cons, which makes it worth investigating. Its picture quality is impressive from all sources – despite its underwhelming black depth – and its passive 3D talents make for a comfortable, ...

It looks beautiful for a midrange set, the new My Home Screen interface is terrific, and 3D images are natural and engaging.
Contrast could be better, input lag might be a problem for gamers, and some key ondemand video services aren't supported
Panasonic's latest 55-inch TV is exceptional on the design front and its new Smart TV interface is a work of genius. Picture quality is good for much of the time too, though dark scenes don't look quite as good as they might....
Sharp pictures for both SD and HD feeds; Rich, warm colours; Good passive 3D support; Customisable smart TV homescreen
Speakers sound quite tinny; Expensive for a mid-range model; Black levels could be deeper; Only three HDMI ports
The Panasonic TX-L47ET60B is a very stylish-looking TV and benefits from Panasonic's new and much improved smart TV system. It also produces very impressive pictures. The only things holding it back are its high price and slightly tinny sound....
