  • Loss of resolution due to wide viewing angle system, Backlight control in HDR, Blooming, Tizen not receiving updates
  • Since the introduction of OLED, several TV manufacturers seem to moved research and efforts away from LCD. Samsung on the other hand has managed to steadily improve and refine VA LCD panel technology. Q90R is not quantum leap compared to previous models b...

  • Incredible motion handling and gaming performance, Very good color rendering for normal and HDR content, Remarkably good viewing angles for a VA LCD TV, Fantastic contrast and superb local dimming, Excellent content upscaling for all resolutions
  • A bit weak on truly vibrant wide color gamut rendering, Not as bright as we expected, No Dolby Vision support, Native Audio could be better
  • Overall, we absolutely recommend the 2019 Samsung Q90 QLED TV to anyone who insists on getting themselves a brand new 2019 television model. It's easily one of the best LCD 4K HDR TVs we've had the pleasure of reviewing so far and it's also one of the bes...

  • Abstract:  Because RCA is such a big name in home entertainment, we wanted to see how two of its universal remotes – one four-device model and one six-device model – measured up against each other and the competition. This review focuses on the RCA RCRN04GZ, a four-...

  • Great software, Slick design
  • No Dolby Vision, Voice isn't super useful, Volume buttons
  • If you're not quite game to pull the trigger on Samsung's first 8K TV, the full-array backlighting, sleek software experience and powerful Quantum Processor leave the Q90R a more than serviceable alternative...

  • Stunning picture quality, thin bezels, one clear cable connection, ambient mode, smart hub, easy to navigate and use
  • TV's speakers could be better, some banding around bright on screen objects, expensive
  • Samsung has once again found several ways to improve their already remarkable TVs and the 2018 Series 9 QLED TVs have raised that bar higher than ever before.User Rating Be the first one! Related PostsAmazon Echo Spot smart speaker review – all the power...

  • Great software, Slick design
  • No Dolby Vision, Voice isn't super useful, Volume buttons
  • If it's a question of friction, the Samsung Q90 leaves little to be desired. Simply put: this is Samsung's best 4K TV to date. It's not quite as "extra" as the 8K-capable Q900R but it's definitely just that little bit nicer and more capable than the other...

  • Class-leading viewing angles, Excellent performance in bright rooms, Very low gaming lag with ALLM and VRR support, plus no risk of burn-in
  • No Dolby Vision support, Over-bright HDR handling isn't strictly accurate, Bluish tint along edges of screen
  • With wider viewing angles, refined local dimming and improved upscaling, the Samsung Q90R is a comprehensive upgrade over its predecessor.  If you can stomach the high price and lack of Dolby Vision support, the QE65Q90R is a versatile, gaming-friendly di...

  • Abstract:  The Q90R is a spectacularly bright television, making it a game-changing TV for folks with bright living rooms and an impressive home theater centerpiece for folks who watch their flicks in the dark. Even SDR content is impressively bright.Where the Q90R...
