  • Vibrant but natural colours, decent detail and contrast, good scaler, reasonable sound
  • Reflective panel, no Freeview HD, backlight isn't even, iffy EPG, imperfect motion

  • A really pleasant surprise, meanwhile, comes from the 60LE925E's black level response. We'd expected to feel a bit disappointed by this based on our experience of the 46LE821E. But in fact, while black colours do have a greyer look to them than you might...

  • Massive, exceptionally bright and wonderfully colourful 3D and HD pictures, Nicely designed, Plenty of connections and features, Outstanding onscreen menu system
  • Crosstalk noise with 3D, Video noise with standard-def broadcasts
  • While everyone else was getting busy with their debut 3D TVs, Sharp was ploughing a lonely – though far from futile – furrow with its first Quattron TVs.These, uniquely, added a fourth yellow sub-pixel to the standard trio of red, green and blue. The L...

  • Convincing 3D depth; judder-free motion; effective noise reduction; comfortable 3D glasses; unique 3D-to-2D conversion; above-average TV sound.
  • Overall softer pictures, 3D glasses flicker under room lighting; moderate crosstalk; skewed colors; lackluster DLNA support.

  • Vivid Details, Sharp Contrasts, Favorable 3D Performance, Impressive 3D to 2D Conversion
  • Poor Noise Filters, Unpredictable AquoMotion
  • Closing ThoughtsIt is clear that Sharp has invested a tremendous amount of effort into their latest 3D offering to make themselves heard in a growing 3D display market. To round off its strengths, the 60-inch LE925M boasts of sleek looks and a substantial...
