  • Abstract:  Last year, I described the Sonos system by stating, ?The Sonos Digital Music System turns your entire home -- or as much of it as you?re willing to pay for -- into a system that can play any of your music, anywhere, at a moment?s notice. We haven?t se...

  • Abstract:  It's hard being a ‘phile these days. On the one hand I'm a technophile: the effect that technology is having on music gets me really excited; I can see the possibilities and can't wait for the day when I never have to go searching through my chaotic CD co...

  • Compact. Excellent audio quality. Broad file format support. Very easy setup.
  • No WM DRM, FairPlay, or WMA Lossless support. No photo support. Controller lacks a headphone output.
  • This is a truly excellent wireless audio solution for people who already have a good home stereo system and audio playback devices in multiple rooms. And its surprisingly easy to set up....

  • The Sonos ZP80 bundle is sleekly designed, its easy to set up, and its wireless, color-screen remote allows you to access your music from anywhere in the house. The Sonos system is also easily expandable (to as many as 32 rooms), now incorporates digi...
  • The Sonos system doesnt play copy-protected WMA or AAC files; the remotes rechargeable battery isnt removable.
  • With its ZP80 bundle, Sonos has done what fans of its highly regarded multiroom Digital Music System have requested all along: ditched the built-in amp of the ZP100, added digital audio outputs, and lowered the price. The recent Rhapsody integration is...

  • Abstract:  Sonoss ZonePlayer is the most expensive receiver here, and the one best suited to large, multi-room setups. Weve reviewed the most basic bundle, which includes a ZonePlayer 80 receiver and a remote control unit. Any Sonos receiver, once connected ...

  • Versatile wireless digital music system; remote control and ZonePlayers for two rooms; remote can control both players separately
  • Still too expensive; speakers not included; one ZonePlayer requires Ethernet cable to connect to your router; can’t play songs bought from online iTunes Store
  • To be fair, the ZP80 Bundle is a more elegant and versatile solution than the Airport Express. But it’s still much too expensive for what it is. At this price it ought to be a completely wireless system that doesn’t need Ethernet cables at all...

  • We love the remote control, but the need for an ethernet connection is a real flaw with the Sonos. Considering what youre paying, you might expect a rather more seamless system. Cliff Joseph & Robin Morris Lowest online price: £N/A ...

  • Abstract:  This unique digital music system is now cheaper than ever, but just as compelling When Sonos released its wireless music system last year, it was universally heaped with praise. We were particularly impressed by how well all the complex technology inv...
