  • voice quality; effective noise cancellation.
  • Low volume on startup.
  • All told, the Q1 is mostly a resounding success. Its not often that companies will try an ambitious feature like extensive voice control and have it work, but here it does. More importantly, BlueAnt didnt feel compelled to use an exotic design and re...

  • Above-average noise cancellation; small, attractive form factor; accurate voice recognition
  • Fit doesn't inspire confidence; durability issues; only accesses eight speed dial contacts
  • While it can't compete on fashion-factor, it does manage respectable noise cancellation......

  • Lightweight, Comfortable, Good call quality, Voice control,
  • Voice control doesn’t work well at higher speeds in a convertible
  • If you don’t own a convertible and are looking for a fantastic and easy to use Bluetooth headset, the BlueAnt Q1 is one of the best you will find. Convertible owners will also find it works very well up to about 50 mph. Overall, the BlueAnt Q1 is on...

  • Fits so well that the ear hook may not be required, Upgradable firmware, Voice controlled, Voice Isolation helps reduce volume of background noise, Can be used with multiple phones at once
  • Short charging cable, Usefulness of voice control depends on the user, Only the first phone connected can be used for outgoing calls while using multipoint
  • I was pleasently surprised at the improvements made to the Q1. Not only did the voice interface work a lot better than the V1 I reviewed a couple months ago, the Q1 also fit better and was more comfortable to wear. However, the merits of having a voice...

  • Attractive, minimalist style. Voice-controlled user interface. Effective noise canceling.
  • Processed, unnatural voice timbre heard at the other end. Occasional UI glitches. Poor battery life.
  • The voice-controlled BlueAnt Q1 is a looker and a solid effort from a company thats fast gaining ground with its line of Bluetooth headsets—but the competition has moved further ahead still....

  • The BlueAnt Q1 is a slim and stylish Bluetooth headset with an innovative voice user interface that lets you control the headset entirely with your voice. Theres no voice recognition tutorial, and the audio quality is very good.
  • The voice controls on the BlueAnt Q1 sometimes would not work properly if the alignment is off or if youre in a particularly noisy environment. It takes some fiddling to fit the headset properly.
  • Despite a few minor issues, the BlueAnt Q1s voice controls and good audio quality sets this apart from other headsets. Price range: $95.00 - $109.99 check prices

  • Voice recognition, noise reduction
  • Isn’t as comfortable to wear as some of its peers
  • The BlueAnt Q1 is among a group of higher-cost, good-looking Bluetooth headsets that have come out for fashion-conscious users. It isn’t quite comfortable enough for business users who spend most of the day on the phone, but the handy voice recognit...

  • Voice recognition is not accurate in noisy environments, Battery life has been cut from the V1/Z9 series.
  • This is our fourth BlueAnt headset weve looked at here at BCCHardware, and for the most part things keep getting better and better. The Q1 is the evolution of their dual-mic noise cancellation technology and the "custom designed internal wind shield...
