  • Stellar GPS navigation. Good call quality and reception.
  • No video player, video recorder, third-party app support, MMS, or instant messaging. Poor camera. Tinny speaker hobbles voice prompts. Expensive.
  • The Garmin nuvifone G60 offers superb GPS navigation and decent call quality, but it's a one-trick pony that falls short in nearly every other way....

  • Cool look, thin device. Much smaller than the PNDs it might replace.
  • Um, could somebody please get us a working model? This one doesnt turn on. NillSlightMODERATEPalpableExtreme
  • There isnt much to say about our hands-on time with the Garmin Nuvifone, since the prototype we saw wouldnt even power up. The phone is very thin, especially with other portable navigation devices in mind. Its also nice and sleek, a simple black o...

  • Abstract:  Garmin makes the best portable navigators out there. Millions of people, including me, are fans. But following notoriously lengthy delays, the first Nuvifone should have been euthanized, not put on AT&T shelves next to the iPhone—for $100 more. The...

  • Intuitive and well-designed user interface, decent navigation functionality, good touch screen response, car kit, 4GB storage
  • Low battery life, no video recording, no video playback, can't install third party apps, sunlight legibility not up to the mark, laggy while browsing heavy websites, expensive
  • The inclusion of a GPS chip in a phone, like every other feature shoved in phones these days, occurred because of a fair amount of curiosity. Companies like NAVTEQ and local ones like SatNav started selling apps that mimicked functionality seen on dedi...

  • Fluid UI, Brilliant Mapping Apps, Audio sounds good via handsfree
  • Could have used a 3.5mm port, Browser could have been better designed, UI is quirky in some places, Speaker is too low, No Video playback or streaming, No BT file transfer
  • Connectivity In this department the handset is quite capable. It supports 3G with HSDPA, GPRS and EDGE of course and even has a Wi-Fi antenna. Bluetooth is also on board with A2DP connectivity but not file transfer (Sigh!). The handset also comes with ...

  • Abstract:  Garmin will be at CommunicAsia this year, and as a preview, a representative from the company gave us a peek at the interface of the nuvifone. Comparisons with the iPhone were made because of its design and interface. Like Apples device, the nuvifone ...

  • Excellent navigation software; Android operating system; loud built-in speaker.
  • Interface can become sluggish when too many apps are running.
  • The Garmin-Asus A10 is definitely a big improvement over its predecessors, thanks to the Android operating system. While the Garmin navigation application has always been good, the various fruits of the Garmin-Asus collaboration have always been lacki...
