Abstract: Microsoft's latest mostly-budget smartphone, the Lumia 640 offers decent value for its asking price, with a camera that's a little better than you might expect.I'd still like Microsoft to more aggressively push into the premium space — and rumours persist...
Both the screen and camera are among the best you'll find at this price, you can swap out the back panels for fresh colours, and the Windows Phone software is easy to use
The front camera has a very poor resolution, the battery life is short, and the under-stocked app store won't please anyone wanting the latest apps and games
The great screen and camera make the Lumia 640 a brilliant phone for anyone on a budget who wants an alternative to Android -- so long as you aren't too bothered about apps....

Abstract: Being a geek, I'm always looking for opportunities to play with the latest tech, when the Lumia 640 was announced, and I saw that it was getting Windows 10, I took the decision to bite the bullet and change from the iPhone. That means no Apple watch, no r...
Abstract: It is roughly 140 x 72mm in size and weighs 147g. Its rear shell is matt black in colour and the phone has a solid feel and sits comfortably in the hand. This is due to it being quite slim at 9mm thick as well as having a smooth curve on the removable she...
Abstract: While the body of the handset is constructed of plastic, the overall feel of the product is of a solid build helped no doubt by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen. The Lumia 640 has dimensions of 141 x 72 x 9mm (H x W x D) and weighs 145g. It fits comfort...

Great display, Excellent battery life, Surprisingly good camera
Poor app store, Annoying speaker placement, A little bland
Microsoft has managed a very impressive feat with the Lumia 640. They’ve successfully fixed all the shortcomings which tainted the original 635 and managed to keep it within the same price bracket. There’s little to be disappointed about here apart from...
