  • Records high-quality HD video. Compact. Double the storage of the original Flip Mino.
  • Small screen. Memory isnt expandable.
  • Pure Digital takes the next logical step, adding high-definition recording to its Flip Mino mini camcorder. While there are few physical changes, you do get more built-in storage—and youll pay a lot more....

  • lowlight sensitivity; detail kept in most individual video frames, 4GB of memory builtin enough to handle likely uses of HD without an addin card, Wellbuilt.
  • No removable storage or battery.
  • Pure didnt have to change much with the addition of the Flip Mino HD for it to be a success, and thats precisely the end product. Hardware-wise, its the familiar pocket camera with 720p video and a few alterations made to improve the overall image q...

  • Compact; shoots HD; good low-light shooting; can create custom case for free; easy to operate.
  • Video tends toward yellow when shot with typical indoor lighting; microphone not terribly sensitive; digital zoom produces soft images.
  • The Flip MinoHD is a step ahead for the Flip family. Like its sibling, it’s easily packed into a pocket or purse, it holds enough video for its intended purpose, and the case-customization option is very slick and likely to appeal to the Mino&rsquo...

  • Twice the resolution (1280 x 720) and twice the memory (4GB) of its predecessor. Incredibly sleek. Infinitely pocketable. Intensely light in the hand. Significant boost in color and detail, especially up close, compared to previous Flips. Impressive autom
  • No HDMI. Only 30fps. 1.5inch screen makes playback annoying. Internal Liion battery gives half as much shoottime as standard Mino. 2x digital zoom results in a picture that's noisier than a Jackson Pollack. Frontside red recording light is still antisteal

  • Solid 720p video, particularly for a camcorder this size; ultraslim yet functional design; easy to use; one-touch video uploading to YouTube, AOL, and MySpace; integrated lithium-ion rechargeable battery; FlipShare software is compatible with both Macs...
  • Somewhat pricey; no SD/MMC card expansion slot; rechargeable battery isnt removable or replaceable; cant output HD to HDTVs.
  • While it has its flaws and is a bit expensive, the ultrasimple Flip Video MinoHD produces impressive video for a camcorder of its size. Price range: $234.97

  • Abstract:  The Pure Digital Flip MinoHD (Specs, Recent News, $229.99) ($229 MSRP) is a very good camcorder for its price range – well get that out of the way before we start listing reasons why you might not want to buy it. The sensor, the compression, and bitra...

  • Abstract:  Pure Digital launched their latest point and shoot camcorder today, the high-definition Flip MinoHD. Keeping the same, sleek styling of the Mino camcorder launched back in June, the MinoHD adds 720p recording (1280 x 720) and, at 4GB, double the memor...
