  • The small and durable design makes this action camcorder truly portable.
  • The action camcorder can only go to a depth of 30 feet underwater.
  • We recommend this compact camcorder for its durability and portability....

  • Lots of features to like, high build quality, smart looks and reasonable image quality. This is tempered by the somewhat high price. Our verdict: a solid 7 out of 10.webstore: www.iontheaction.com.au Next > Add comment JComments Latest Tags 1.5ghx 12...

  • Abstract:  Action cams have always sounded great. Just strap them to a bike, a surfboard, a car, or a helmet, and record a ride from the daredevil's POV. Now they're getting fancy, with full 1080p HD recording, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. So which is the right one to...

  • Durable waterproof body. Compact and lightweight. Records 1080p30 and 720p60 HD video. Easy-to-use controls, even when mounted. Wide array of mounting accessories. Expansion bay for Wi-Fi connectivity.
  • Visible compression affects finer details. Cannot adjust settings on the camera
  • The competitively priced, waterproof, Wi-Fi-connected Ion Air Pro WiFi is a solid entry in the ever-growing realm of action-oriented sports cameras....

  • The Ion Air Pro is waterproof up to 30 meters and shock resistant. HD video is easy to capture with the record slider. Photos can be captured without stopping video capture. Wi-Fi Podz add-on allows syncing, remote viewing, and simple controls via an iOS
  • The nonrotating lens makes orienting shots at odd angles tricky. No SD card is included in the box
  • The standard Ion Air Pro is a rugged sports camcorder that is easy to use with many thoughtful features, but the addition of Wi-Fi and app connectivity makes it a truly standout camera.

  • Abstract:  The first was an increasingly nauseous feeling about the whole narcissistic modern business of “sharing”. Let me put it this way: in the unlikely event that, say, Prince Philip is aware of how much and how willingly everybody shares (aka shows off in publ...

  • Despite its Herculean skills, the GoPro looks like a toy: the Ion Air Pro on the other hand looks as good as it does rugged. It fits right in with the look of your mountain bike, and it shoots pretty good video to boot. There are stacks of accessories on offer too, including waterproof housing that’ll let you dive down 10m. If you plan on going any further into the deep than that, you’re a braver
  • Check out our video review above and you’ll see the problem we had: on the way down from the outer atmosphere, the Ion Air Pro’s lens did start clogging up with condensation, an issue we didn’t see with either the Contour+ or the GoPro. You also have to change the settings in advance, since it lacks a screen on the device, which can be a bit of a problem for freestylers.
  • We love the simplicity of the Ion Air Pro, and how its settings and lack of screen just force you to shoot and go when you’re on location, but depending on what sports you’re into, that could be limitation more than a blessing. In the end, it’s hard to...

  • The Ion Air Pro certainly looks set to give the GoPro HD a run for its money. Not only is it smaller and lighter, it also has a slicker, more attracive chassis, as well as the ability to live stream. Once its up and running, the app integration will likel...
