  • 3inch touchscreen, HDMI cable supplied, Microphone socket, Headphones socket, Wide angle in 720p mode
  • Focal length drops to 44mm in 1080p mode, Slight lag to the touchscreen controls
  • The Kodak PlayTouch is probably the most advanced pocket camcorder on the market right now. It handles like a smartphone and films like an HD camcorder thanks to its large touchscreen and 1080p mode. Kodak is clearly one step ahead of the competition!...

  • The concept of a pocket video camera is very appealing, and the PlayTouch Zi10's list of features is right up to scratch. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for its video quality, which is way off what you'd expect from even a basic handheld camcord...

  • Touchscreen. 1080p recording. Macro mode. Point focus
  • 720p modes disappointing. Poor sound. No flash for stills
  • Despite the dodgy audio quality, the PlayTouch boasts some cool features and smooth Full HD video recording ...

  • External mic option, removable battery and storage, choice of video capture modes, HDMI
  • Video quality isn't great, on-board mic is lacking, screen isn't put to best use, there seems little advantage to adding touch controls, seems expensive
  • Something of a mixed bag, the Kodak Playtouch offers a heavy dose of pros and cons. The touch interface doesn’t seem worth given that the screen isn’t put to best use and the quality isn’t quite good enough, especially at the £200 markKey specs5 megapi...

  • Touchscreen makes for easy control; full quality HD video; direct HDMI output,
  • A high premium for the touchscreen; flimsy socket covers
  • An excellent pocket video camera, though the touchscreen puts the price up a bit too much...

  • Small and light, Easy to operate, Fairly good photos, HDMI cable included
  • Video performance suffers from several issues, Poorquality audio, Plain design, Touch controls are not integrated into onscreen preview
  • At the more expensive end of the pocket-camcorder range, the Kodak PlayTouch offers the novelty of fingertip controls and is very simple to use, but brings very little else to the table....

  • Abstract:  Kodak's PlayTouch joins an exclusive band of pocket camcorders like the new Sony Bloggie and the JVC Picsio clan to boast touchscreen operation. But while these ticklish moves grab the limelight, this pocket shooter also comes packed with a welter of othe...
