  • Responsive touch-screen controls, Manual touch focus, Excellent image quality, SDXC and Eye-Fi card compatible.
  • Flash performance and slow recycle, No optical zoom while shooting movies, Slow continuous shooting.

  • Takes nice photos; big screen, Canon www.canon.com.au
  • Touch interface is lacking
  • The IXUS 210 IS is most certainly not a bad camera. At $499, it is more expensive than other cameras without touchscreens (from Canon and other manufacturers) but with otherwise similar specs. Given the responsiveness of the touchscreen on this model, ...

  • Like: The image quality is excellent with good resolution and preservation of detail. Against our comparison compact the Canon stands out for better pictures in every way. Even noise doesn't seem to be a problem, in spite of the high pixel count. Macro mo
  • Dislike: The touch screen implementation, by comparison with the Samsung and Panasonic variants, is kludgy, slow and not at all intuitive. It feels and looks primitive. This is one area where Canon needs to get a Mark 2 out quickly to match the competitio

  • Highquality, multipurpose 24120 mm lens, Optical stabilisation works well, Pleasant touchscreen interface and highquality LCD, Good overall image quality
  • Autofocus a bit slow in low light, Still no exposure histogram when shooting, Macro mode to 5 cm and slow burst mode, Disappointing video mode: no zoom, mono sound, quality not great
  • The Canon Ixus 210 is a pleasant compact camera that'll suit touchscreen junkies down to the ground. In photo mode the camera does its job well, but the video mode is disappointing....
