  • Very good image quality, No serious increase in noise up to 200 ISO, Quick to operate, Very effective Face Detection system, Compatible with SD and xD cards, Sharp 25inch LCD monitor
  • Some shadow noise and grain at 100 ISO, Images a bit oversharpened, All image sizes should have at least 2 compression choices, No long exposure, Manual mode confusing Should be called a Program mode
  • Slim, smooth, and metallic on all sides but the flat black back, the Fujifilm FinePix F40fd fits well in the lines tradition of classy looking cameras. The FD40fd is equipped with an 8.3 megapixel Super CCD, a 3X optical zoom and features the ubiquito...

  • Lightning-fast shutter response; lots of settings; clear interface
  • Some counter-intuitive buttons; image stabilisation isnt mechanical or optical
  • The F40fd is user-friendly and super-quick. Face detection is patchy but useful, while image stabilisation works well thanks to the cameras strong automatic capability. Dual-card format, customisable favourite modes and lots of presets make this an a...
