Abstract: I think of this as a semi professional digital camera however the price seems to put it in the amateur camp. Certainly making adjustments to zoom and focus on the lens stem is a big leap from point and shoot.
Good quality lens with wide and long telephoto, High resolution sensor, High ISO sensitivity for an all-in-one, Great value
No image stabilisation (relies on high ISO), Harder to manually focus than D-SLRs, Relatively small 1.8in screen, Smearing of detail at high ISO settings
On paper the Fujifilm S9500 promises a great deal: it features higher resolution than current budget digital SLRs and a much longer optical zoom than their typical 3x bundles. Fujifilms marketing material additionally lists the many reasons why youd ...
Abstract: The design of the Fujifilm FinePix S9500 is well thought-out. The buttons are in the exact right spot and carry a clear symbol. Most buttons feature a single function, which makes it well arranged and organised. Its fairly pleasant having to turn or p...
Abstract: From the rubberised grip to the manual focus and zoom rings and the dual flash connectors, the FinePix S9500 looks and feels like a digital SLR and it has all the features youd expect from a digital SLR; but you cant swap the 10x zoom lens out for an...

Looks and feels very much like a digital SLR, Double-hinged LCD allows innovative shooting angles, 10.7x optical zoom; maximum ISO of 1,600, AA batteries, Accepts both xD-Picture cards and CompactFlash/Microdrives
Noisy continuous focus mode, No battery life indication until power is low, Slow shot-to-shot response when shooting RAW, Bad conversion software
Although the FinePix S9500 supports RAW format, this capability is crippled by the bundled software that allows you to convert your RAW images to only TIFF. Otherwise, this unit that cost slightly over AU$1,000 should satisfy your diet to cross into t...
Abstract: The Fujifilm FinePix S9500 has some of the best attributes of a single-lens reflex model in an all-in-one body, but its still a large, bulky camera that doesnt cost much less than a true SLR. It has a fixed 28mm-to-300mm lens--quite long for a fixed-...
