  • Usable high-ISO photos; solid performance; large 3-inch LCD.
  • Limited manual controls; few scene modes; average image quality.
  • A 3-inch LCD, serviceable high-ISO photos, and some fun features take a backseat to the Fujifilm FinePix V10s merely average image quality and tiny controls.

  • Abstract:  The Fuji Finepix V10 ($349) is shaped like a square, but Fuji definitely threw in a few curves behind the scenes. The V10s two biggest features are its SuperCCD HR sensor and its large 3-inch LCD display. Initially, the SuperCCD HR was marketing...

  • Very good picture quality. Large 3-inch screen. Low-light setting. In-camera cropping. Plays games. No shutter lag.
  • Screen smudges easily. Relatively low resolution. Few screen modes. Camera buttons are designed for small fingers. Some in-camera features lack dedicated buttons.
  • The Fuji FinePix V10 is a good camera to kick off the V series. It takes very good photos, offers useful shooting features, and includes four games for curing those traveling blues.

  • Abstract:  A first-class three-inch LCD, good high-ISO photo quality, and some useful, quirky features separate the ultracompact Fujifilm FinePix V10 from the pack, and provide a lure for snapshooters who want a camera with its own personality. However, its 5-me...
