  • Attractive design; decent photos shot at high ISO sensitivity levels.
  • Flat, hard-to-feel buttons; lens too close to camera edge; doesnt zoom or refocus in movie mode.
  • Its thin, pretty, and reasonably fast, but exposure problems make the Fujifilm Z5fd hard to recommend to its budget snapshooter audience.

  • Fancy colors in skinny sexy camera body IrSimple transfer of pictures Effective face detection High ISO sensitivity Good $229 retail price
  • Movies can’t be transferred via IrSimple Max f/3.5 aperture isn’t very bright Tiny controls Burst maxes out at 3 shots Misleading "manual" mode
  • It is rare that a sexy camera actually performs decently. The Fujifilm FinePix Z5fd does just this though. It comes in a 0.8-inch skinny metal body with a sliding lens cover – and in three colors too. Then Fujifilm added a few ingredients from older...

  • Face detect technology, blog mode, excellent video capture, design and looks
  • Lens position The Final Word The Z5fd is a good balance of size, style and function and its video capture is very impressive for a compact digital camera.
