  • Built-in projector. Decent operating speeds.
  • Very expensive. Subpar feature set for the price. Soft images. Some color fringing. Bulky design. No lens cover to protect projector window.
  • The Nikon Coolpix S1000pj's built-in projector offers a unique and fun picture- and video-playback experience, but when it comes to performance and features this $400+ camera doesn't deliver....

  • Projector, remote control
  • Light fall off at corners when shooting wideangle, ISO 32006400 poor quality, price
  • The Nikon S1000pj is definitely an innovative product, but it just falls a tiny bit short of the mark. First and foremost it should be a camera – and image quality, light fall off at the wide angle, and lack of manual controls and a better overall l...

  • Despite its other features, the projection capability of the S1000pj really makes you ask why. There is plenty of capacity right now to send digital copies of whatever you need around to your friends, so would you really feel the need to subject them t...

  • Abstract:  Though P&S models do not usually provide the photographer much control, photographers will appreciate that, besides Program Auto and easy-to-use Scene Modes, the Coolpix S1000pj also offers the following practical features:...

  • Abstract:  Ditching prints for pixels revolutionized photo sharing in certain ways and hampered it others. Online, anything from junior’s first home run to last night’s tryst can now travel instantly cross-country with a click of a mouse. Regrettably, showing sho...
