In replacing the E-5, the introduction of the E-M1 heralds a new direction for Olympus and their MFT models. The larger, pro-grade body should appeal to existing E-3 and E-5 users, while the addition of the new focusing system grants unrestricted access t...

The Olympus OM-D E-M1 is a great, feature-packed and weather-sealed camera that's fast and delivers high-quality photos and videos
The out-of-the-box JPEG quality could be better and the sheer number of configuration options can at best test your memory and at worst, overwhelm. It deserves a better manual, as well as a second card slot
One of the fastest, most feature-laden cameras you can buy for less than $1,500, you really need to spend some quality time going through all the settings before using the Olympus OM-D E-M1.
