  • For the money, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7 delivers great photo and video, excellent performance and a broad feature set
  • It's another in a long line of Panasonic cameras with proprietary USB connectors and some people might find it too complicated
  • A great mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera for families and travelers, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7 is a compelling alternative to similarly priced dSLRs...

  • Flimsy buttons, Touchscreen kept turning itself off,
  • If you're looking for a mid-range camera, Panasonic's Lumix G7 is a solid buy. Clever features such as its 4K burst modes give it an edge over a traditional DSLR - doubly so if you're interested in video. The camera has a few small flaws - namely some us...

  • The 4K video output is stunning. We were able to edit and display the UHD video on the new 5K iMac, even displaying the 4K picture at the iMac's full screen mode, and the results are amazing. There is a microphone socket so that the audio quality can matc
  • Such a refined camera should not have the memory card slot in the battery compartment where it cannot be accessed when the camera is on a tripod
  • Some years ago we reviewed one of the first hybrid stills/video cameras – also from Panasonic – and confidently predicted that it was a fiasco that would never fly. It was impossible, we said, to combine the two functions in a single camera without compro...

  • Two year old sensor
  • While the G7 design and build may lack the excitement of cameras like the Fuji X-T10, it has one of the most well-rounded feature sets available, with a high quality OLED viewfinder, a vari-angle touch-screen, and Wi-Fi connectivity....
