  • That should pretty much assure you of good build quality and a high-quality finish, and the DSC-T7 doesn't disappoint. Even more impressive is that this camera is the thinnest of all the super-slim models in our supertest group, actually measuring in a...

  • Extremely thin, Five-point autofocus system, Crisp level of sharpness
  • Relatively meagre megapixel count, Some noise
  • As they used to say on their advertising campaigns, "Its a Sony." That should pretty much assure you of good build quality and a high-quality finish, and the DSC-T7 doesnt disappoint. Even more impressive is that this camera is the thinnest of all th...

  • Abstract:  Sonys wafer-thin CyberShot T7 is encased in a metal jacket so, despite its fragile appearance, its actually pretty robust. Its modern design makes it a little uncomfortable to hold despite a moulded grip on the right edge, and it always feels a li...

  • Abstract:  There is a lot to like about the Sony DSC T7. It is unbelievably slim and stylish. It is a lot more expensive than other cameras with similar features and I am not sure I can justify the additional cost.

  Published: 2005-07-29, review by: T3.com

  • Abstract:  If Sonys designers had a brief to build a camera for T3 readers, the DSC-T7 could have been the result. Its the most desirable piece of kit weve seen this year, and it hits all the right buttons: slim and stylish, five megapixels, 2.5-inch LCD, pl...

  • Slim, pocketable and even wearable; sturdy metal case; big, bright LCD; all main functions accessible via buttons; pleasing snapshots; great macro, magnifying glass and movie modes
  • Awkward to handle; cryptic menus; separate accessories required to mount it on a tripod, connect it to your computer and charge the battery
  • The superslim design makes it the Kate Moss of ultracompacts, but you pay a price -- both financially and in terms of the handling. Nevertheless, snapshots are pleasing and the big, bright LCD makes it a great camera to hand around. ...
