  • Good performance, Reasonably quiet, Price
  • Awful installation procedure, Massively underwhelming RGB lighting, No mixed colour RGB mode, single colours only, Same header for RGB and fan connections, Incorrect washers supplied, Difficult to install fans due to cable placement, Pump cracked on both
  • As we mentioned in our introduction, Antec aren't particularly well known for their CPU coolers, so some leeway can be allowed for that, while they try to nudge their way into this incredibly competitive marketplace. Having said that, some leeway doesn't...

  • With the RGB on or off, this is one of the best looking AIO coolers in my opinion, Noise levels were excellent, Build quality is to an excellent standard, Components are all individually bagged with labels making assembly significantly less daunting, A ma
  • The instruction manual is very poor. This includes the information, the way is it conveyed and even the quality of the paper it is printed on, Neutral, RGB lighting is not for everyone. As a positive though, Antec does offer a standard Mercury 240 which o
  • In terms of looks and noise levels, this cooler is definitely worth considering. Particularly if you are looking for that something special in terms of lighting effects. I can not stress how much I like the Antec Mercury designs in an aesthetic level. At...

  • Separated Intel and AMD fixtures in a labelled bag make installation easy, Well presented, The lighting effects (to reflect temperature) is a lighting perk that not even the most ardent haters could dislike, Punches well above its price with top performan
  • The lack of notification of the AM4 bracket on the box is a massive oversight which might make many turn away from this excellent product, Neutral, Noise figures are higher than usually seen, Editors Choice Award – Antec Mercury 240,
  • This depends on your priorities. If you value looks and performance then definitely. For the price, this is definitely one of the best performers in both categories we have seen. The lack of dazzling RGB lighting, while providing a temperature reflective...

  • If you are looking for the best possible cooling for your processor, then water cooling is an excellent option. Ready-to-use kits such as those used in this test tend to deliver good to very good cooling performance. From models with a compact 120 / 140 m...

  • Reasonably quiet, Installation is simple enough, LEDs may appeal to some
  • LED pump turns red at 41C – rendering it pointless, Tubing is very inflexible, Out-performed by a £35 air cooler, Arctic Liquid Freezer 240 is an all-round better product for less
  • Overall, the Antec Mercury 240 is an unspectacular liquid cooler. It does have the advantage of LED fans and a temperature-reactive LED pump, but I find the latter feature to be a gimmick quite frankly. For instance, the pump glows red once the CPU tempera...

Antec Mercury 240...
