  • Time to present our findings. The 22 keyboards that we tested come down to two price ranges. The “affordable” segment, which are the keyboards with an average price up to £150 and the high-end models, which start from £150. Interestingly, we find 11 keybo...

  • RomerG switches are quieter than Cherry, Beautiful lighting, Dedicated media buttons and volume roller
  • Extra ping noise when typing, Keys caps show too much fingergrease shine, RomerG stems not Cherry compatible

  • Logitech's mechanical flagship, the G910 Orion Spark, featured a somewhat eccentric design. For those who prefer a clean design, the G810 is a great alternative. You will miss dedicated macro keys and the faceted keycaps, but in return you will get a mu...

  • Fantastic lighting options, Multi-functional Windows key lock, Romer-G switches are satisfying without being overwhelmingly noisy, Attractive, minimalist aesthetic and design
  • No USB/audio passthrough, Expensive. Really expensive.
  • Beyond all its flashy lighting options and nifty added features, the fundamental experience offered by the G810 Orion Spectrum is excellent. It looks great, it's comfortable and the mechanical switches are a pleasure to use. It's one of the best mechanica...

  • The Logitech G G810 Orion Spectrum is an RGB mechanical keyboard with an excellent rigid yet sleek body. Although Logitech removed the funky angled keycap in favour of the ordinary slightly curved keycaps instead. These keycaps however caused the RGB backlight to be a little washed out...

  • Cable is non-detachable; no cable management features

  • Quiet switches, RGB backlit, Good for typing
  • Price, Lack accessories
  • It's a great keyboard but the asking price is steep for the average gamer. However, the Romer-G keys have longer lifespan, so that could somewhat justify the cost(previously published in issue April 2016)...

  • Abstract:  LED lighting and gaming keyboards go together like noobs and tears. But in the past, LED lighting was generally just one color and mostly for show. Today, we have gaming keyboards with lights capable of displaying up to 16.8 million colors. These keyboard...

  • Abstract:  The Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum RGB Mechanical Keyboard – is the name length necessary? – is sensible and surprisingly slick in its scaled-back design, ticking a lot of boxes that make a gaming keyboard great. It may not have been love at first mash for...
