  • Lacks USB passthrough or macros, Requires two USB ports for full lighting
  • A keyboard whose excellent switches match its thoughtful design to deliver performance, comfort, and aesthetics in one sleek package...

  • Opto-Mechanical switches feel great and are objectively faster than traditional mechanical switches, New aluminium top-plate, We finally have dedicated media keys on a Razer keyboard, Top-class RGB lighting, Wrist-rest is plush and very comfortable
  • I couldn't tell the difference in speed between an Opto-Mechanical and a Cherry MX Brown, Opto-Mechanical switches are currently only available in one style – tactile and clicky, Costs £200
  • The Razer Huntsman Elite has been a tricky product to review. On the one hand, it makes a number of improvements over the BlackWidow Chroma V2 – there is a new aluminium top-plate, we finally have dedicated media keys and the wrist-rest has integrated Chro...

  • Fastest key actuation ever, Tactile and audible key switch clicks, Nearly perfect keyboard layout
  • Requires two USB ports for power, Sharp edges on palm rest, Whiplash-inducing price
  • Forget about Cherry MX Speed or any other keyboard switch, Razer's Optomechanical switches are easily the fastest keyboard switches we've ever typed on. Meanwhile, the Razer Huntsman Elite is the closest thing we've seen to a perfectly laid out keyboard.O...

  • The Razer Hunstman Elite brings something new to the table with its exceptional optical switches, and useful features like the illuminated wrist rest and programmable wheel. The $200 price tag is a hard pill to swallow though, especially when it's missing...

  • Plush palm rest is a nice inclusion, RGBae effects are amazing, Cables are well-protected by braiding, Loving the dedicated media controls, The smoothest clicky switches I have ever tried
  • Requires two USB ports, Keycaps are lackluster at this price range, Disagreeable pricing
  • Well-heeled gamers with a preference for clicky switches should definitely buy the Razer Huntsman Elite...

  • Speedy optical switches, Comfortable, plush wrist rest, Highly customizable RGB lighting, Onboard memory
  • Thick, unwieldy, and nondetachable cable, Expensive for a mostly plastic keyboard, Stock ABS keycaps
  • All things considered, the Razer Huntsman Elite is a keyboard for those where price isn't an issue. If you want one of the most technically competent switches on the market, Razer's Opto-Mechanical switches seem like a good fit. I honestly don't think the...
