  • Since ASUS' launch of Sabertooth, it's been a series that I've held a great interest in - and I'm confident that the next time I upgrade my personal PC, it'll be equipped with a Sabertooth board. I am not big on overclocking, so ASUS' major attention ...

  • The SABERTOOTH Z77 brings back everything I missed about the X79 and 990FX based SABERTOOTH boards. The Thermal Armor is what makes the board from an aesthetic point of view and really the SABERTOOTH Z77 is a great looking board that really stands out...

  • Active cooling on the motherboard is optional and quiet. Thermal Radar is quite helpful. Dust shield and covers should help prolong component life. Stack of four USB 2.0 ports on the back gives greater value
  • Clearance around PCI-E card release mechanism could be increased. Lack of push button for on/off or reset on this high-end board is vexing
  • The Sabertooth is a high-quality board with a unique aesthetic that demands a windowed case. If you're modding up a storm and have your case lit, this Z77 board could be the finishing touch....
