  • Abstract:  I'm just as tired of the "Ultrabook" label as anyone, but every now and then along comes a machine that does justice to the category. The Acer Aspire S7 is one of those machines, thanks to some clever design decisions. However, the Aspire S7 also suf...

  • Slim and sleek 2.2-pound design, Extended battery included, Very fast SSD, Blazing boot time
  • Poor endurance without extended battery, Relatively dim display, Limited keyboard travel
  • The Acer Aspire S7-191 is a very thin and light 11-inch Windows 8 Ultrabook that boasts a 1080p touch screen, fast SSD and bundled (but bulky) extended battery....

  • I'm just going to come out and say it straight away: I love this computer. I love everything about it, save for one massive flaw that would cause me not to buy it. The performance? Nope, it's everything you would expect from an Ultrabook. The size or ...

  • Full HD IPS screen. Premium feel. Dual 128GB SSDs in RAID 0 means super-speed storage. Decent accessories
  • Pricey. Can get quite loud under load. Backlit keyboard hard to see in half-light. Poor battery life
  • Acer takes a step up into premium land with its S7; however, there are still a few rough edges — in particular, battery life....
