  • Super-thin GTX 1080 laptop, Tasteful design with innovative, quiet thermal solutions, Top-end performance in initial testing, 120Hz G-Sync display, Plenty of ports, including USB-C with Thunderbolt 3
  • Short battery life, Only 1080p resolution, Bottom panel isn't sturdy when venting, Skinny right-aligned touchpad
  • Thanks to Nvidia's Max-Q initiative and a clever design, the Asus ROG Zephyrus looks to be the new benchmark for powerful, thin gaming laptops...

  • Subpar battery life, Weak audio,

  • The super-slim design of the Asus Zephyrus hides excellent gaming performance and a powerful Nvidia 1080 graphics card. The hidden kickstand vent provides cooling while not interfering with portability
  • The large cooling vent feels flimsy when opened. The display tops out at standard HD resolution, and the misplaced touchpad on the far right side is tough to get used to
  • Asus has created a surprisingly slim Nvidia 1080 gaming laptop in the Zephyrus. It's expensive and has a few design quirks, but it's also very portable and just plain fun to use...

  • I initially went into this review thinking that I would be comparing two very similar notebooks and while the Aero 15X and Zephyrus may both use NVIDIAs MAX-Q design language, they're both cut from very different cloths. ASUS targeted a gamer demographic...

  • Very expensive, Poor battery life, Dark and dull display
  • The Zephyrus features a Max-Q GTX 1080 in a 17.8mm shell, making it both powerful and stylish, but it’s expensive...

  • This second-gen version of the Asus Zephyrus keeps the inventive raised cooling vent, lowers the price, adds a new six-core Intel Core i7 CPU, and fixes the poor touchpad placement in the original
  • The fans still get quite loud, battery life is short, there's a thick screen bezel around the non-touch display, and there's no built-in Ethernet jack, which is important for downloading large game files
  • Asus adds Intel's powerful new six-core Core i7 CPU to the slim Zephyrus gaming laptop, while fixing some of the original's design quirks and even lowering the price...
