  • The Asus Zenbook UX31E boasts sleek, pristine design, excellent-sounding speakers, a higher-resolution screen than the MacBook Air, and a better price for nearly identical specs
  • The keyboard and touch pad are weak points, there are equally thin laptops out there with better battery life
  • The Asus Zenbook UX31E is an excellent-looking Windows Ultrabook laptop that matches the MacBook Air step for step with an even better price. Fans of great audio, high-resolution screens and lots of ports will be happy; keyboard/touch pad aficionados ...

  • Abstract:  There's no doubt in our minds that the UX series is the sexiest line of notebooks ever made. The machined aluminium looks and razor-thin slimness just attract attention wherever you are.The UX31E and its 11.6in sibling, the UX21E, can justifiably be co...

  • Very sturdy; Good connectivity options; Power pack is nice and small - very different for a PC laptop; Excellent screen resolution, better than most 15 inch laptops have;
  • Speakers aren't super loud; No backlit keys; Keyboard and mouse could be a lot better;
  • There is a lot to like about the UX31, foremost among them being design, specs, and screen. When it comes to usability, however, its keyboard and mouse are likely to provide a far less enjoyable experience than you'd want from a $1999 notebook.  Pages: 1...

  • Excellent performance thanks to the Sandforcedriven SSD and Core i7, Beautiful looks, 1600x900 screen is a nice departure from 1366x768, Good battery life
  • Terrible touch pad and keyboard make the product almost unusable,
  • Much like the UX21, the ZenBook UX31 is a beautiful performer trapped in a cage of awful usability. We look forward to Asus' next revision, where it will no doubt refine the experience into a winning product.

  • Thin design, 1600x900 resolution, 256GB SSD and Core i7 CPU
  • Input devices not great, User friendliness not great, Keyboard not backlit
  • With so much going for it as far as size, build and looks are concerned, it's a shame that the Zenbook UX31 offers a below average user experience. Its input peripherals aren't great, it feels uncomfortable to use and we had to install drivers to get thin...
