  • Exquisitely thin. Sturdy. Fantastic keyboard and mouse buttons. Fairly priced. Fast hard drive. Better-than-expected feature set.
  • Small battery yielded paltry battery life. Battery is not removable.
  • Although the Core i5 processor and HDMI are notable additions, the Dell Vostro V130 is tough to recommend as an ultraportable with only 3 hours of battery life. Buy it now...

  • Stylish brushed aluminum design, Less than an inch thick, Loud speakers, HDMI port and added USB port, Runs cool
  • Battery life too short, Expensive, Long boot time
  • Dell's follow-up to its slim business ultraportable packs a faster Core i5 processor but doesn't last long enough on a charge.

  • Incredibly thin and light, Sharp design, Comfortable keyboard
  • Battery is not user-replaceable, Short battery life, Mediocre performance
  • The Vostro 130’s sharp, super-thin design is an attention-grabber. But for small-business buyers looking for a laptop for a long trip or the long haul, this unit's battery is a deal killer. ...

  • Sturdy, thin design; lightweight; excellent keyboard; crisp, matte screen
  • Poor battery life; high prices at upper-range configurations; no optical drive
  • We still like the Vostro as a portable business machine, and the new upgrades make it more capable than before. It's just a shame about the battery life....
