  • Abstract:  Back when we first started hearing about the Foleo, and the term "mobile companion" was new, I didnt get it. So when Celio contacted us about the RedFly, I was curious. I wanted to see a mobile companion first-hand - so I could figure out what the po...

  • Small and portable, Excellent keyboard, Makes text entry speedy and efficient, Good battery life
  • Cant function without a connected Windows Mobile device, Expensive, Mininotebooks offer more, and often for less money
  • The mini-notebook-like Redfly Mobile Companion is a £250 paperweight without a Windows Mobile device to provide it with computing power and connectivity. It can do nothing on its own, and thats its big problem...

  • Ah, America, home of so many things that just dont make sense on this side of the Pond – the Klan, baseball, George W Bush and arguably the Redfly. To be fair though unlike the first and third items in that list the Redfly is not a bad idea per se...

  • Costs the same as a netbook;
  • The Redly Mobile Companion C8 is an interesting idea, but its price is far too high considering that it is little more than an external screen and keyboard for a smartphone. ...
