  • The clunky plastic design does the W4 no favors, and it's thicker and heavier than many other Windows tablets. The screen resolution feels dated compared to a growing number of HD-or-better tablets
  • The 8-inch Acer Iconia W4 has a few advantages that help it stand out from a crowd of similar devices, including great battery life and enough ports to support basic productivity. It's also much better -- and less expensive -- than last year's W3 model, ...

  • Excellent screen, Office included, Battery life
  • Processing power, Port selection, Misleading storage capacity

  • Good screen viewing angles, full Windows 8.1, decent battery life, super-fast browsing, microSD storage
  • Can lack performance speed, plasticky finish, screen resolution could be higher
  • The Acer Iconia W4 is a very capable 8.1-inch Windows 8.1 tablet, especially for the price. For an all-day-use Windows tablet that's portable but still offers plenty of apps and a good screen the W4 is spot on. If you're hoping to replace your lapt...

  • Good battery life, Improved display, Micro HDMI support, Office comes pre-installed
  • Slightly sluggish performance, Uninspiring design, Too much bloatware
  • The Acer Iconia W4 is another 8-inch Windows 8 tablet that offers a solid all-round performance, but the combination of full Windows on a small tablet still isn't one we'd recommend to everyone.Next, read more tablet reviews or see our pick of the best Wi...

  • Rather equal to prices of Toshiba's, asus, 's offers which include almost the same hardware parts. It's just a matter of style, usability and other small factors that'll drag you over the line. The tablet doesn't offer better value or anything that's...
