  • High-quality display, responsive, fast performance, good battery life, lightweight
  • 4G not available in UK yet, lack of killer new feature means this isn't a must-have upgrade for Ipad 2 owners, but viewed as a standalone tablet it's the best around

  • Based on what we've learned from its latest tablet, Apple will be hardpressed to wow fourthgeneration iPad buyers in 2013. Let's unpack this, LTE support in the new iPad is indeed a killer feature, but it's not anything that could have led Tim Cook's keyn
  • Aside from the Retina display, the latest iPad lacks mindblowing new features that advance the state of the tablet art

  • Abstract:  There are lots of reviews of the new iPad . Lots and lots. My review? In deeply abbreviated form, here it is: The screen is amazing. You must see it before you make up your mind. It's pretty much every superlative people have thrown at it, aside from t...

  • Breathtaking display. The best app selection of any tablet. Excellent 3G and 4G network compatibility.
  • No camera settings. 4G data usage is difficult to monitor. Apps are starting to strain the processor
  • With a gorgeous ultra-high-resolution display and the widest selection of apps you can get, the new iPad is the best large-screen tablet around....

  • A hard and especially long day slowly comes to an end. This is time to draw a preliminary conclusion. What is left of the initial euphoria after the first tests?Above all else, the excellent Retina screen has to be mentioned. It is beyond all doubt the re...

  • Abstract:  Following the iPad Keynote last week, there was a lot of debate about whether or not the new iPad is a small or big upgrade from the iPad 2. There seemed to be a lot of disappointment in the fact that form factor was basically unchanged. The disappointmen...

  • Retina Display is stunning compared with earlier iPad screens, Much-improved camera versus iPad 2, Quad-core graphics complement higher-res screen and demonstrate significant overhead
  • No Siri personal-assistant feature, HDMI, SD-card adapters cost extra, Still lacking Flash support, USB port, or built-in card slot
  • A new high-res display is the main draw of the 2012 iPad, strengthening the king of tablets. This is clearly the iPad to get if you're buying your first; current iPad or iPad 2 owners, however, should consider how much they need the improved screen and c...

  • Abstract:  The new iPad is undoubtedly Apple's best tablet yet. Still, many users want to know: Are the new features — including the eye-popping retina display — worth it?It's a testament to the quality of the iPad 2 that this question is even being asked. After all...

  • Abstract:  The third-generation Apple iPad is here, and we've tested it next to our best Android tablets--the Asus Transformer Prime TF201 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. While our tests of battery life and recharge times are still pending, a clear picture of this ...

  • Vivid, high-resolution display, 4G LTE option via Verizon
  • Slightly increased weight, iOS 5.1 still lacks large-screen optimizations
  • Apple's third-gen iPad is defined by its amazingly sharp and crisp high-resolution display, as well as its option for 4G. The heavier weight is a disappointment; but the display, coupled with Apple's solid app ecosystem, makes this tablet the one to be...
