  • Is it possible to make a tablet too beautiful? Maybe we're neurotic, but these are versatile, multi-tasking devices – is that always best served all dressed up in your Sunday best? We do feel like we have to smother its waif-like aluminium in a chunky cas
  • In simple terms, if you don't have an iPad and want an iPad, this is the best iPad. It's meaningfully better in terms of portability – light, thin, rigid, glare-resistant – than the previous iPad Air, so goes straight to the top of the wanted list. But fo...

  • Faster performance, Improved screen with richer colours and deeper blacks, Greater contrast, Smoother graphics, Superb build, Better cameras
  • Speaker could be better, Restrictive
  • There's absolutely no doubt that Apple has done it again. This is the iPad to beat all iPads, and is still the best tablet on the market. Yes, its restrictive nature does make it a little pricier, gigabyte-for-gigabyte, than competitors that allow you to ...

  • Nippy performance, anti-reflective screen, slim profile, good battery life, Touch ID sensor
  • Camera still struggles in poor lighting, not many signifcant changes over the original iPad Air
  • The iPad Air 2 is lighter, thinner and faster than its predecessor, but the updates are not enough to make it worth ditching the old model if you already have one....

  • Besides the Touch ID fingerprint feature, the new screen assembly and uprated processor are the headline features. New cameras are a bonus too. Overall the Apple iPad Air 2 is the best tablet you can buy, without even a close competitor in performance, at...

  • Nippy performance, anti-reflective screen, slim profile, good battery life, Touch ID sensor
  • Camera still struggles in poor light, doesn't feel that different to the original iPad Air
  • The iPad Air 2 is undoubtedly an improvement on last year's model, owing to its A8X chip, new anti-reflective screen and, of course, its slimmer design, which makes the iPad extremely comfortable to use for a tablet of its size.Owners of the iPad Air migh...
