  • As a media player, the Archos 32 Internet Tablet could be a good travelling companion on the cheap if you don't already own an iPod touch or a smartphone, but if you're looking for smartphone-quality web surfing and apps, or if you want to read text m...

  • Excellent music and video playback, with support for most formats, Intuitive, Androidbased, phonelike interface,
  • Low screen resolution, No access to Android Market,
  • This tablet is a good choice as a music and video companion, but poor screen resolution makes Web browsing and other text-intensive tasks hard on the eyes. ...

  • Abstract:  Don't let the name of the Archos 32 Internet Tablet fool you: It's palm-size, and it more closely resembles an Android smartphone than it does a Samsung Galaxy Tab. The Archos 32 Internet Tablet won't disappoint if you're expecting a high-quality music...

  • None
  • Voices in music and video sound faint or missing, Fuzzy screen, Limited number of Archos-optimized Android apps, Slow processor, Poor VGA camera, No expandable memory
  • A 3.2-inch screen and Android 2.1 sound like a winning combination for $150, but poor audio quality, a dim screen and numerous other problems prevent the Archos 32 from posing any threat to Apple's iPod Touch. ...

  • The Archos 32 is a pretty good portable media player — if you’re cool with a device that has a 3.2 inch, 400 x 240 pixel display, no speaker, and very few physical buttons. The internet tablet was able to handle most audio and video files I threw at it,...

  • Support for lots of audio and video formatsResponsive resistive touchscreenGood sound quality
  • Lacks access to Android MarketAwkward camera placementNo speaker
  • As we mentioned at the get-go there are a few things that perturb us about the Archos 32 – its mushy, glossy screen, poor camera placement, lack of a speaker, and the missing Android Market are all up there -- but we still found the experience of using th...

  • Good overall performance, Excellent audio quality, Plays video and 3D games smoothly, Compatible with wide range of audio and video formats, Several useful apps included
  • Resistive display has lots of glare, Frustrating touch keyboard, Archos app market isn't as robust as Google's, Poor camera, No speaker
  • This Android-based portable media player does more than the iPod nano for the same price, but is it a better deal?

  • The Archos 32 delivers features such as music and video playback, e-mail, Web browsing, Bluetooth, a camcorder, and plenty of Android 2.2 goodness, in a contract-free device that fits in your pocket
  • Archos uses its own app store instead of the official Google Marketplace. The touch screen is difficult to read outdoors, and the keyboard's small size makes it prone to error. The audio player choked on some podcasts and audiobooks. Storage is limited
  • The Archos 32 tablet offers many of the core features of Android 2.2 at an attractive price, but its keyboard is too impractical to rely on as a productivity tool, and the Archos-managed app store limits the device's overall potential.

  • Good media playback, Slim design
  • Finicky touch controls, Hard-to-use virtual keyboard, No 3G option, Not compatible with Android Market, Freezes up after prolonged non-use, No maps or GPS functionality
  • This tiny Android tablet has some good features, but the highlights fail to outweigh the shortcomings of this finicky device. ...
