  • It's tiny, gorgeous, and more productive than an iPad or other cheap PC,
  • The CPU is still pretty underwhelming, The Surface Go is a 2-in-1 laptop. But it's a very, very good one that jumps up to being exceptional when you consider its price versus other devices of the same ilk. It ships as a tablet, but for an additional $100-

  • The Surface Go delivers Microsoft's great Surface design and accessories at a lower price, and in a smaller size
  • The Pentium processor isn't suited for all tasks. A keyboard cover is a must-have add-on, but still sold separately. And you'll probably want to pay extra for more storage and RAM, too
  • The new Microsoft Surface Go is the perfect size for casual coffee-shop computing, but getting the full experience quickly drives up the price...

  • Excellent build quality, Sharp, bright display, Windows Hello support, Built-in microSD card slot
  • Sluggish performance, Janky touchscreen for some apps like Chrome, Keyboard and stylus sold separately, Huge, thick bezels around display
  • Microsoft's Surface Go is the cheapest way to buy into the Surface ecosystem, but sluggish performance keeps it from competing with Apple's iPads

  • Affordable, competitive price, Lightweight, fairly compact, Real-world performance was satisfactory
  • Smaller Type Cover can be uncomfortable, Battery life isn't much to speak of, Windows 10 in S Mode lacks app flexibility
  • Microsoft's new, affordably priced 10-inch tablet runs Windows 10 S for a streamlined Windows experience. It doesn't have great performance, but it provides a "real" computer when you need it...

  • Low-cost entry point to the Surface line, Build quality is high, Small, lightweight design, Good potential for education use,
  • Middling speed, Keyboard is cramped and costs extra, Narrow for on-lap use, No full-size USB ports
  • The well-built Surface Go is the least expensive route into Microsoft's superb Surface tablet line, and the most portable option. Just know that frequent travelers will like it best, and the core processing power is on the light side...
