The editors didn't like
Larger, sharper screen within same dimensions, Vastly improved Type Cover, Even better Surface Pen
Type Cover still sold separately, Intel Core m3 at entry level, Battery life hasn't improved much

I am a fan of the Surface hybrid detachable design and use the Pro 3 extensively. My wife uses the Atom-based Surface 3 almost every day as an Office productivity device, for movies and Kindle.The Pro 4 is a refinement – yes it is more polished but it tec...

Abstract: Despite how far smartphones have come in the last eight-odd years, as productivity devices, they're still a little too restricted to get serious work done. They're undoubtedly fine for quick tasks like replying to emails and scheduling appointments, but...

Abstract: The fight is on. After years of studiously avoiding creating an iPad with a keyboard, Apple went and did it in September. In one fell swoop, the iPad Pro, complete with its 12.9-inch display, optional add-on keyboard and stylus, took the fight directly to...

I already liked the Surface Pro 3 enough to have run out and bought one after reviewing it last year. The Surface Pro 4 is a step up, and it's going to be hard going back to using the Surface Pro 3 again. The screen is amazing, the keyboard is improved an...
Brilliant screen, Much improved TypeCover, Surface Pen is still a joy,
Lacklustre battery, Trackpad still a little small, A little awkward to use on your lap,

Thin, light, excellent screen, high performance, versatile
Expensive, you have to pay extra for the keyboard cover
Microsoft's Surface Pro 4 is powerful yet portable device that is well designed, packed with features and can suit any user no matter how they choose to use the product...
Fantastically sharp screen; Removal of Microsoft Windows logo feels like it makes the screen bigger; Excellent sound; Performance is top notch; Password-less login works by identifying your face, and is a treat; Magnetic pen attachment now sits on the lef
Paint job on the back is very easily scratched; No Type C USB port; Magnet is stronger on the pen, but it still falls off all too easily; Still the occasional black screen of death where the machine won't return from sleep requiring you to go online;
When it comes to Windows tablets, Microsoft's Surface Pro 4 easily leads the pack, and while the changes might not appear to be much, you have to look beneath the surface (sorry!) to see what Microsoft is doing.Frankly, there isn't one thing in the Pro 4...
