  • All in all, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is difficult to place among its rivals: on the one hand, the stylus is a refreshing change from the finger-smudging UIs that mar most tablets, while the included 'S Pen' apps run the gamut from fun gimmicks to high...

  • Speaker location & sound quality, Access to the Samsung App Store, Access to apps like S-Planner and S-Note, S Pen abilities, Screen capture soft key, Decent battery life, Floating widgets, Micro SD card slot
  • Poor screen resolution, Plasticy, cheap feel to the build quality, Placement of volume rocker and headphone jack, Widgets like S-Planner are not resizeable, Lack of handwriting input outside of S-Apps, Multi-tasking not a smooth or fluid process
  • I REALLY wanted to love this tablet. I wanted this tablet to be as awesome as it looked on the James Franco YouTube video. I wanted to walk around using this tablet for all kinds of seemingly random stuff, yet somehow have it all be a breeze to make happe...

  • Lightweight construction. Forward-facing speakers. Top-shelf hardware makes for a smooth tablet experience. IR blaster on top of tablet
  • Only average battery life. Screen is OK, but far from best in class. S Pen is not nearly as useful as it could be. Comparably expensive
  • Samsung delivers a solid and well-performing tablet in the Note 10.1, but it is far from the best device available. The screen falls short of its competitors' screens, battery life could be better and Samsung is charging top dollar....

  • S Pen and compatible apps, Infrared port and Peel app, TouchWIZ adds some nice features
  • Bland design with average build, Sluggish performance at times, Screen resolution could be higher
  • The S Pen certainly adds a new dimension to the Galaxy Note 10.1 and we like the bundled apps that Samsung has included. Once you look past the S Pen, however, you're left with a tablet that doesn't offer anything particularly exceptional. Ultimately, the...

  • The Note 10.1 then feels a bit 1.0 at the moment. The Note's S-Pen is a terrific party trick and it draws people in, but ultimately, it's not something the average tablet user is likely to use every time they pick up the device...

  • The Galaxy Note is a great smartphone by itself, even if you don't use the stylus, but the screen is just a little bit too small to call it a worthy tablet replacement...
