  • Fantastically thin, light and waterproof design. Snapdragon 801 provides more than enough power. Great display caps of a generally solid hardware offering.
  • Android is lacklustre on 10inch tablets compared to iOS or Windows. Camera isn’t that good. Bezels are a little too large.
  • Inside the Xperia Z2 Tablet we find a 22.8 Wh (6,000 mAh at 3.8 V) battery, which is a reasonable size for a tablet this thin and light, but not hugely amazing. Windows 8.1 tablets I’ve reviewed in the past, such as the Asus Transformer Book T100 , manage...

  • There hasn't been a ton of Android tablets this year outside of the Samsung camp, so this is definitely a nice breath of fresh air. The hardware alone is worthy of your attention, though the software, while functional enough and pretty decent on the eyes,...

  • Thin construction and low weight, Fast SoC, MHL 3.0, Micro SD port, Protected against dust and dirt, Good display, Decent battery runtimes
  • Display frame susceptible to pressure, Position and sound of the speakers, Mediocre microphone
  • In Review Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet.Sony's engineers did a lot of things right with the Xperia Z2 tablet and currently deliver one of the best Android tablets. We can fully recommend the device if you are looking for a fast and thin device with a great displa...

  • Abstract:  These days it isn't enough just to produce a good-looking tablet. To succeed in a very crowded sector, manufacturers also need to offer standout functionality. It's arguable that Sony's 10.1-inch Xperia Z2 Tablet majors on looks but disappoints on the oth...

  • Abstract:  The smartphone market is not the only one Sony is hoping to make an impact in, with the company introducing what its vision of a high-end Android tablet is with the Xperia Tablet Z at last year's MWC. The first iteration was something that was very apprec...

  • Ultimately it is a matter of personal preference. Both these tablets stand head and shoulders above the rest of the 10in tablet world. They are thin and light, well made, designed and built. They offer great displays and excellent performance, decent came...

  • Abstract:  When it comes to the tablet market, Sony seems to be stuck in neutral. We previewed the Xperia Tablet Z over a year ago to find that Sony hadn't yet found an angle for its lineup, resulting in an unremarkable device priced far above its more enticing comp...

  • Elegant and convincing design, Waterproof, Outstanding performance, Nearly a stock Android experience
  • Excessive display reflection, Merely aboveaverage backfacing camera, Insufficient battery life

  • 1080p display is crisp, clear, and great for watching video, Thin, light, and easy to cart around
  • Rear-facing camera is subpar, Speakers easily covered up because of their poor placement
  • The Xperia Z2 Tablet is water-resistant, thin, and, easy to use on a commute. But it also carries a fairly steep price tag....

  • Incredibly thin andwaterproof, too, Snappy performance, Sony's Android UI is thoughtful and lightweight
  • Relatively short battery life, Glossy screen, Middling speakers, Both cameras are underwhelming
  • Not only is the Tablet Z2 the thinnest and lightest tab Sony has ever made, but also it's far and away the best. It's trim design and strong spec sheet makes it a strong competitor against similarly sized tabs from Sony's arch-rival, Samsung....
