  • Great power, Lovely screen
  • Not a lot of tangible improvements, Likely to be pricey
  • Sony has kept up the high standards it set with last year's Sony Xperia Tablet Z with a number of fairly minor improvements. The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet is even slimmer and lighter, while it retains the original's distinctive looks and adds an eye-scorching...

  • Waterproof, Perfect screen for movies, Light, All day battery life
  • Expensive, No killer first/third party tablet apps, Big bezels = a very wide tablet
  • Open Gallery The Xperia Z2 Tablet has all the right numbers - 1920, 801, 6000. That would be enough if it wasn't for the fact that tablets win big on criteria you can't put a number on - how they fit into your life, what they allow you to do tha...

  • There are a lot of Android tablets now. Too many, in fact. A lot also fall directly in line with Apple's current iPad pricing strategy, which means they have to be mighty impressive to be worth the cash. The Xperia Z2 most definitely is. Apart from the sli...

  • The Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet's processor is searingly powerful and copes well with games. It has a bright, vivid display and its razor-thin body can be taken in the shower without worry
  • It loses its battery far too quickly in standby mode. Huge bezels around the display don't look good and make the body needlessly big, and its slim design has resulted in the whole thing being a little flexible
  • While the battery is a concern, the Xperia Z2 Tablet is still a good-looking slate that's loaded with more than enough power for anything you're likely to throw at it. It's a good choice if you're looking for a more affordable iPad alternative with 4G LT...

  • Slim and lightweight, gorgeous screen, powerful processor, waterproof and dust resistant, fine camera, sturdy build
  • Some unnecessary tweaks to Android, camera not as good as it should be
  • The Sony Z2 Tablet improves on its predecessor with a lighter, slimmer casing and more powerful processor, while retaining its fine screen and perfectly good camera. It's around £399 for the cheapest 16GB version, rising to £449 for 32GB and £499 for on...

  • Gorgeous display, Topnotch design & finish, Super lightweight, Waterproof body (even with no cover for the audio jack), Overall responsiveness, Battery life (Stamina Mode even better on Sony's tablets than on its smartphones), Front camera has ideal quali
  • Thinner bezel, please, Video Unlimited still has no HD content to view on the overFull HD screen, Microlags when you launch certain games (but everything runs smoothly after that)
  • Generation after generation, Sony's Xperia slates keep getting better and better, and this one is about as perfect a tablet as you're going to find. The Xperia Z2 Tablet is a stellar device for multimedia and all things online—and it's all held in a sleek...

  • Very slim and light, Good rear camera, Water and dust resistant
  • Over-saturated display, Lower resolution screen than its peers, Weak and tinny speakers
  • This is a competent and attractive tablet, but we'd happily trade its thinness and lightness for a better screen and beefier speakers....

  • Abstract:  Sony's Xperia Z2 could be the best Android KitKat tablet to come out of MWC 2014. The Japanese firm has taken the original Tablet Z and improved key areas including the display, design and battery life. The display on the Z2 tablet is the same size and r...
