  • Incredible gaming experiences, sturdy and robust headset, works with existing technology, cheaper than equivalent rivals
  • Set-up can be long and frustrating, tracking issues can occur, screen lower resolution than rivals, games can be pricey
  • Setting up the PS VR has proven a troublesome project, especially with Camera placement and calibration, and that is worrying considering it will invariably attract plenty of less tech savvy customers. But the pay-off at the end is a superb virtual realit...

  • cheaper than Vive or Rift; excellent setup procedure; lots of games, decent graphical performance; comfortable headset; generally reliable motion sensing
  • costs more if you need a camera and Move controller; relatively low resolution means some blurring and lack of detail; more intense games may cause motion sickness in some; it's wired so cable can get in the way; camera doesn't always pick up movements wi

  • The PlayStation VR is the most accessible, affordable and user-friendly full VR option on the market. Sony has promised support from a long list of developers down the track but the immediate launch games are pretty solid as well
  • Its single-camera tracking system occasionally feels lacking and you may have trouble when you turn around. The PSVR's graphical fidelity is occasionally noticeably lower than what's possible with HTC Vive and Oculus Rift
  • While the motion tracking trails its PC VR counterparts, Sony's PlayStation VR otherwise crams a solid and satisfying virtual reality experience into an existing PS4 game console...

  • Good game library at launch, Great headset security, Achieves that “full VR” sensation, PlayStation Network filters out broken games, More affordable than Rift or Vive
  • Makes a mess, Not as powerful as Rift or Vive
  • Yes. PlayStation VR is launching with a slate of fun games that offer a new type of entertainment. Unless you've used an Oculus Rift or HTC Vive, you have not experienced what PlayStation VR has to offer, and you should. Virtual reality, generally speakin...

  • The full-fat PC VR experience has been nipped and tucked in terms of core technology and visual accomplishment, but the sense of presence required for a top-tier virtual reality experience is undiminished and there's plenty of promise in the initial launc...

  • Close to high-end, affordable, Some awesome VR games, Range of controller options, Multiplayer and social features
  • Occasional motion sickness, Tracking can be flakey, Pay for Camera + Move controllers, Wires. So many wires
  • The PlayStation VR is as good as the games you play on it. Play something slick with a great story and you'll forget its flaws. Sure, it doesn't match the experience of Rift or particularly Vive but as this price and with this momentum, it doesn't need to...
