De een lost puzzels op, de ander misdaden. De een is een beschaafde Britse gentleman, de ander een wat schlemielige advocaat. Beiden houden van wijzen, gelijk krijgen en gerechtigheid. Het blijkt geen vanzelfsprekende match, maar wel een hele leuke.
