  • The best the Battle Royale genre has to offer at the moment, Addictive gameplay that doesn't need to resort to manipulative progression systems, At only $30, offers a great amount of value
  • Bugs, bugs, bugs - PUBG's developers still have a lot of issues to sort out, Version 1.0 release doesn't feel as final as it could be, Cheating is still an issue, but hopefully one that gets better quickly
  • As it is, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is something of an ugly masterpiece. It is unquestionably one of the most enjoyable games I've played all year, and if we're talking all-time favorites, it's certainly earned a spot near the top of my personal list...

  • Some technical hiccups aside, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds can provide some of the most intense and exciting moments multiplayer gaming has to offer thanks to a clever game mode that supports varied play-styles, and provides a unique self-contained adven...

  • The high-stakes nature of combat makes enemy engagement a constant thrill, Emergent tactical situations whether you play solo, in a duo, or with a full squad, Intrinsically rewarding; strong sense of accomplishment, Unpredictable variables make each match
  • Technical problems (connection issues, crashes, glitches) can ruin a good match, No in-game guides or tutorials, Unpredictable performance hits, even on high-end hardware

  • Technical issues severely interrupt gameplay flow, matches sometimes come down to luck, Developer

  • Excellent replayability, Fun with friends, Addictive gameplay
  • Poor optimization, It's not pretty, Loot crates, If you want to be the last man (or woman) standing and wish to play a game closely resembling Battle Royale and The Hunger Games, you'll be hard pressed to find a better game than PUBG, for now. Things coul

  • Great visuals and atmosphere, Novel "battle royale" concept, Active development and community, Fast matchmaking
  • Gameplay quickly becomes repetitive, Still somewhat buggy, Only one map right now, Matches are currently not based on player rankings
  • PUBG has a lot of momentum, due to its growing user base, departure from the FPS/Survival genre norms, and technically impressive play environment. But there's still room for improvement...

  • PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has taken the genre popularized by games like DayZ and boiled it down to only its best parts, making for quick and accessible rounds of pure, hassle-free survival-based action. Even though it's as rough around the edges as th...

  • While it's nice to see Battle Royale games on mobile, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds doesn't translate well to a mobile experience due to its poor touch controls and lack of optimization...

  • Plays well on a range of devices, Free to play, Regular updates, Variety of playing modes
  • In-game awards can be a little confusing, Screen clutter can get in the way
  • PUBG Mobile's success very much comes down to playability on mobile devices. The fact that you can login on your phone or tablet and play across whichever device, largely irrelevant of its specification, is why this free-to-play game has been able to thri...
