  • In the end Sniper: Ghost Warrior fails at coming together. What little positive elements it has going for it are marred by its problems. Maybe with more time and some lessons learned a sequel could provide the kind of gaming experience that the developer...

  • Abstract:  Sniper: Ghost Warrior is a first-person shooter that focuses on sneaky, stealthy gameplay. It attempts to build an entire campaign out of intense sniping moments from games like Modern Warfare, and it even imitates factors like wind speed and heart rat...

  • Challenging sniping mechanics, Some satisfying moments, especially when watching the bullet cam, Attractive tropical visuals and atmospheric sound effects, Multiplayer holds some promise, once you get over the learning curve.
  • Sniping mechanics are overly twitchy, Absurd difficulty in spots, Poor stealth mechanics, Spotty enemy AI that ranges from mindless to so magical it can spot you instantly.

  • Abstract:  When a game has a voice actor in it that reminds me of a game I couldn’t get enough of, and this is a standout feature of the game, I have to wonder what went wrong. Sniper: Ghost Warrior is such a game. It’s not that it’s bad, it just does...

  • Abstract:  While Sniper: Ghost Warrior simulates sniping with some authenticity, it falls down considerably on the realism levels elsewhere. The enemy can fire their assault rifles with withering accuracy equal to your sniper scope (that's when they're not stand...
