  • Fantastic story, and a successful achievement as an interactive movie. Graphics are very impressive in certain scenes. Emotionally engaging. Some of the tenses moments I have experienced in a game. Replay value if you want to see all the different outcome...
  • Some very bad voice acting. Realistic graphics can make some characters look strange. Sound, camera and graphical bugs. The story has a few major plot-holes. The early levels are a bit too slow, which may stop some players from getting into the game.

  • Abstract:  Heavy Rain has to be one of the most realistic games to grace the PlayStation 3 and could actually be a key reason to buy the console if you don’t currently have one, as for all you Wii and Xbox 360 owners, unfortunately, this game is only available fo...

  • Like any other game it has its faults and certain presentation features, like voice acting, are going to be held under more scrutiny due to the nature of the genre in contrast with traditional games, but if you own a PS3 this is a must play and it’s gr...

  • Abstract:  Published February 27th 2010. Written by Ian Dickson. Heavy Rain has been causing quite a stir within the games industry since its announcement a couple of years ago. David Cage, head of Quantic Dream has been persistent in outlining Heavy Rain’s role ...

  • Graphics, storyline, intensity
  • Sometimes you feel you are just following a sequence of prompts
  • Heavy Rain is far from flawless, but if you take gaming seriously, you really need to experience it for yourself....

  • The storytelling. The stunning visuals. The emotional choices
  • At times awkward controls. Lack of videogame interaction at some points; too much "gameyness" at others
  • The future of storytelling in videogames – proper grown-up and gripping stuff...
